I just remembered that I usually post on December 25th, so I figured I’d keep this little tradition going. Let’s take a look back at 2005, shall we? My friend is in Kappa Sigma at Penn State, and they’re getting kicked off campus, so they started trashing the house. The landlord found out and hired security to roam the halls. The frat house is enormous, it’s like a dormitory building, and normally there are people all over the place drinking and being loud. So we were up there visiting, drinking in my friends room, and a security gaurd comes to the door. He told my friend that he was only allowed to have on guest at a time, and “you know you’re not allowed to have any alcohol in here.” He was cool about it and left us alone for the most part, but I was blown away by the fact that I was drinking in a frat house and someone came to the door to yell at us – It was seriously like there was an RA there or something. Weird shit.
This is probably the coolest-looking clock ever.
Double Feature Finder is a pretty awesome idea for a website. You type in your zip code, and then choose a theater near you. The site then lists all of the movies showing back-to-back, so if you have no life, or feel like spending the entire day at the movies, all you have to do is buy one ticket, and you’re set!
So I got kind of sidetracked, and this update took alot longer then I expected – I started it Christmas afternoon, but I’m posting this and it’s about quarter after one in the morning the day after Christmas… Oh well. I have more stuff I wanna include but it’ll have to wait until next time. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
