Download The New Tomahawk Album May 1, 2007
I’ve probably mentioned before that I’m a huge Mike Patton fan. Faith No More is one of my favorite bands, but it’s definitely not the only thing he’s done that I dig. Mr. Bungle is awesome (and not the least bit bizarre), the album that he did with The Dillinger Escape Plan is great, the Peeping Tom album was pretty cool, and Fantômas is just insane – They remind me of a nightmare sequence in a video game or something. Lovage is pretty cool too, and I’ve been listening to them a good amount lately. But I can’t forget about Tomahawk. Besides Faith No More, Tomahawk is probably the Patton project I listen to the most. Their first two albums are awesome, and they are good enough to stand on their own as a band, and not just a “side project”. Anyway, this is all leading up to the fact that the new Tomahawk album has hit the interweb. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, but I really hope it’s up to par with “Mit Gas” and the self-titled album. And uh, yeah, you can download it here:
If you haven’t listened to them before, give it a chance, it might take a few listens to grow on you. Or, if it sucks… Definitely check out the other two CDs. If anyone wants me to post them here, say so and I will. Enjoy!

whoaaa! the new tomahawk album is awesome! way better than the fisrt two. This isn’t even rock music, it’s journey music.
