I worked for the rest of the day, and it was the guy who started the company's birthday, so there was food and cake, and beer. Someone brought 6 packs of bud ice (!?!) and Heineken, and this dude kept opening them and putting them in front of me, so I finished a 6 pack like half an hour after resigning from my job. And then the "drop the gun and pick up the mic" foundation came in to sing for the boss as a birthday present, I suppose, so there were all these high school kids singing and rapping while we sat around and drank beer and ate cake. Definitely a very strange series of events. Anyway, I start the new job after I get back from Langerado, on the 12th. Plus-you're supposed to pay estimated taxes 4 x a year so they'll sock you with interest and fees for paying late. Get off that train pronto.
