A Great Deal on an XBox 360 January 23, 2009
I’m told that this is an amazing deal on an XBox 360. Sure, it’s refurbished, but it’s only $150, and I’m sure it comes with some sort of warranty. If I had more free time, I’d be all over this deal.
Unfortunately, I barely have enough time for my Wii as it is. I just hax0r3d the shit out of that thing so I can play “backups”, which is pretty awesome. Now I just need some time.
The “hack” was very easy, by the way, you just need a Wii (obviously), a copy of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and an SD card that is under 2 GB. By the way, I don’t own Zelda, and don’t plan on purchasing it (definitely no time for RPGs) so I signed up for a free 30 day trial of Gamefly. Blam.
Anyway, got pretty off topic there, hopefully someone else still has a little nerd left in them and can take advantage of some part of this post. I think I’m gonna run this image through the rasterbator. I’m gonna print it out and see if it’s visible from space. Okay, all kidding aside, I’m gonna go fondle my sweaters.

Your Wii link is broken
I’ve been hearing a lot about a “soft mod” for the Wii, I’m guessing this is just another way to do this? Is Zelda only used to downgrade the firmware of the Wii? I’m thinking about purchasing a Wii just to “back-up” my extensive Wii library. Any one interested in a pre-owned XBox 360 Elite $250 (never been opened, under warranty)?

pmaster, the appeal of the soft mod is the fact that no soldering is required, and it’s pretty simple. that forum link that i provided in the post (http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-guides-tutorials/7213-ultimate-upgrade-downgrade-guide.html) should answer any questions you should have. let me know if you run into any problems.
