I just stumbled upon NASA‘s album, “The Spirit of Apollo“, last night. NASA is “an ongoing creative collaboration between two lifelong music aficionados, Squeak E. Clean ad DJ Zegon, and their friends, friends of friends and musical heroes.” I checked out the track listing and had to download it. The first song pairs up David Byrne and Chali 2na. Tom Waits and Kool Keith? Karen O and ODB? I haven’t heard the whole thing yet, I’m listening for the first time now, but it seems like it’s worth checking out… The beats and production aren’t top-notch, but the pairings are certainly interesting enough. You can download it here. This guy looks like a thumb… Looks like he’s eaten his way through a few stadiums.
