How to Leave the Rat Race for the Trip of a Lifetime – This article gave me chills. Not because it’s particularly well written, but because of how excited I get when thinking about doing something like this. I feel like my time spent in Ghana (Ghana blog posts here) gave me a good taste of being completely immersed in a strange (meaning unfamiliar to me) culture, and I absolutely loved it… And have been craving it ever since. I feel like I’ve had the “travel bug” ever since I got back from Africa. Moving to California will certainly keep me complacent for a while, but I know I’m not done traveling. I read the article twice, and definitely suggest that you check it out as well. For some reason, the first quote in the article really struck a chord with me:
“For every sin but the killing of Time there is forgiveness.”

Maybe the article won’t do anything for you? I suppose everyone has different interests, and some people are fine with staying in their respective countries/regions, spending their vacations at all-inclusive “walled garden” resorts (taking a web term here and attempting to broaden it’s use a bit). I certainly can’t relate to that, but everyone has different interests/passions. Anyway, just felt the need to share that article, I hope some of you enjoyed it.
