Okay, this is sorta bugging me. Check out this wallpaper I came across. Now tell me, do you see Amy, the lead singer of Evanescence, in that image? I’m pretty sure it’s her, it looks like the image of her thats on the cover of their newest album. Not that I’m a big fan of her music or anything, but hey, I’d put it in her butt.

I thought this was pretty interesting… The Top 100 Women In Rock - It’s cool to see hotties like Otep Shamaya (Otep) and Angela Gossgow (Arch Enemy) on there, not only because they’re hot, but I dig the music they make. Don’t get me wrong, there’s alot of other hot girls on that list, such as Gwen Stefani, who I’ve been obsessed with since I can remember, but I’m just not a big fan of No Doubt (though at one point I was, believe it or not).

Do you remember before Y2K, all the predictions that were made about the millenium? For a long time, the 21st century was seen as some type of futuristic technologically-enhanced utopia, with flying cars and the like. All those erroneous predictions can be seen on retrofuture.com, which I think is pretty damn interesting.

Okay, well I’m a little bit hungover, but I’d say overall I had a pretty good time last night. I went to the University of Delaware and took part in some good old-fashioned binge drinking. I’m trying to think if there’s anything that happened that would even be worth writing about on here… Oh yeah, some kid said that you could take the dents out of a beer pong ball by holding it up to a lighter for a second. So he asked if anyone had a lighter, and I gave him mine… Two seconds later, half the people in the room are stomping like mad at the ground, trying to put out a fire caused by melting plastic. Once again, a perfect example of the fact that fire and alcohol are a good combination. So yeah, that’s last night; as for what I’ve been up to since I last posted here, well I’m just enjoying the freedom of being done with school and having a job that never gives me any damn hours. I’m going on Senior Week with some of my friends that are graduating from High School this year, as well as some people the same age as me, and I’m really looking forward to that. Alcohol poisoning, here I come! Anyway… Yes, to answer the question that I’ve been asked many times over the past week or so, I have seen both X2 and Reloaded. I’m not gonna say much (basically because I don’t feel like it), but the original Matrix movie was much better overall, though the fight scenes in Reloaded were cool as hell, and I’d definitely see it again (and probably buy it on DVD when it comes out) just to watch them over and over again. I just didn’t like how they tried to branch off so much with the plot and make it all advanced and super-involving. They need to realize that there are likely to be some drunk kids with short attention spans in the theaters, and with that in mind, they should be producing mindless, dumbed-down entertainment which requires no thought on the viewer’s part. Okay, not really, but it might be nice for a change. As for X2, I loved it, it definitely rivals the original - Yeah, I think I liked it better than the first one.

The complete itinerary for the North American leg of Iron Maiden’s “Give Me Ed ‘Til I’m Dead World Tour” has been released. The six-week trek will also include appearances by Dio and Motorhead. Confirmed dates are as follows: Jul. 23 - Philadelphia, PA @ Tweeter Centre at the Waterfront - I am so fucking there man. A kid from school told me about this a few weeks ago and asked if I wanted to go, and I guess I didn’t really think about it, I mean it would be amazing to see Iron Maiden live. Knowing me, I won’t actually end up going, because I’m too lazy to try and find people to go with me and organize everything, but still, it’d be nice.

Well the following is the worst news I’ve heard in awhile… I found it on Blabbermouth.net - Vocalist Phil Anselmo says that he is done with PANTERA and he intends to focus all his time and energy on SUPERJOINT RITUAL. “There was a lot of business with Warner Bros. and this and that DOWN and PANTERA and this and that, and etc. etc.” Anselmo was quoted as saying by MetalIndex.com. “Whatever. Pretty much what I’m doing here is I’m sticking with SUPERJOINT, and I’m not doing fuckin’ anything else. This is where I’m most comfortable and this it the type of music that I wanna do, you know?” Anselmo says that he is proud of what PANTERA achieved and is also proud that they pulled the plug rather than faded away. “If you think about it, PANTERA never went away until we personally said, ‘Fuck it’.” Asked if he sees patching up differences and rejoining DOWN or PANTERA, Anselmo said, “Never say never… [but] not right now.” SUPERJOINT RITUAL’s sophomore album, “A Lethal Dose Of American Hatred”, is due on July 22 through Sanctuary Records. Don’t get me wrong, Superjoint Ritual is an amazing band, but personally I like Down and Pantera alot more, and to see a band like Pantera call it quits is really ashame, they’ve been doing their thing for so long, and influenced so many bands/people in the process.

I’m not sure how many of you remember MTV’s show “The State”, but it was on when I was in elementary school, I remember watching it in like 4th grade or so. Anyway, according to the-state.com, “the members of The State are working in conjunction with MTV Home Video to make the ultimate, REAL, DVD collection of The State. We going back to the original master tapes and loading it with great extras too, including commentary, interviews, unaired material, etc. Save your money! Stop buying bootlegs! We don’t know when exactly this new DVD will be released…” Anyway, that’s fucking cool. I will definitely be purchasing one of those. Why did I just say purchasing? Who the hell says that? Anyway, on a somewhat similiar note… I don’t know if any of you were fans of the Comedy Central show “Strangers With Candy“, but I loved it. Unfortunately, I didn’t start watching it until a couple weeks before they took it off of the air. So the following (stolen from jerriblank.com) is good news for me: The official release date for the Season One DVD will be June 17, 2003. The double disc set of 10 episodes will also include the original unaired pilot, 15 minutes of outtakes, deleted scenes, and tributes. There’s commentary by Paul Dinello, Amy Sedaris, and Stephen Colbert on four of the episodes! Unfortunately, at this point there are no plans on issuing the 2 following seasons. They might appear on a “best of” DVD in the future. I’m sure if Season One sells well, we’ll see more. SVAIGHT! I am soooo buying that.

Personally, I was never the type of person that had any use for those ambient CDs full of ocean and rain sounds, but I know that theres a market for that type of stuff. Just a quick update, for two reasons. Number one, someone has the Deftones CD. And whoever that bastard is, they’d better rip it and send it to me, ASAP. And number two, Serart-Serart-ADVANCE-2003-ESC was released. If you don’t know who/what Serart is, it’s a side project of System of a Down’s Serj Tankian (the lead singer). I’m listening to the Serart CD right now, and so far, it’s all just weird mellowed-out tribal shit, which I’m not too fond of. I was browsing around on xmike.com the other day, and there are some rather interesting photos on their. Take this for example: Like Natalie Imbruglia, I’m “Torn” (and hilarious, obviously) because I can’t decide whether or not that picture is extremely hot, or just downright morbid. Regardless, there are so many hot-ass girls on that site, and I’m having trouble getting other things done. As you can see, I ran out of links for the last two words, sorry, I don’t have time to look at every damn pic on the site, as much as I’d like to… Yeah, alot of those pics are of the same chick, but whatever, she’s hot as balls. This site, however, did have me wondering why someone would want to pierce their wrist. I saw some other strange piercings on their as well, like someone pierced the skin between their pointer finger and their thumb… But I didn’t think to save the URLs… Oh well.

Yes, I realize I haven’t updated in almost a century. I’m gonna post later on tonight, I’ve been so damn busy with school, shit’s ridiculous. I only have two days of class left (3 finals to do next week) and after that I’m free for the summer (free from school, that is) so expect more frequent updates then. I know half of my visitors have stopped coming, but to the rest of you, keep on keeping on, as some guy probably said at one point or another, regardless of the fact that this statement isn’t the least bit valid right now.

Here’s your “update”, faglets: Alright, I am really pissed off - I had a really long update typed up, and I was installing something in the background… When it finished installing, rather than asking me if I wanted to restart my computer, it took the liberty of doing it for me, and I didn’t even get a chance to save the update! I was typing it in Notepad (as usual) so there’s no way of getting it back, either, and I’m exhausted… This is bullshit.

I just came across this link the other day… Supposedly, this is what the Playstation 3 is gonna look like. Looks cool… I guess. If you’re a true nerd, though, you’d probably be alot more fascinated with this… Or maybe not… God, I’m tired.

Alright, well this story really made me laugh… Some people are just idiots. I’m too lazy to summarize it, though, so read it. This is pretty damn funny, too.

Holy shit, Limp Bizkit is gay. First the name of their upcoming CD was “Bipolar” (didn’t Vanilla Ice have a CD with the same name?) Then they changed the title to “The Search for Teddy Swoes”, which is even gayer than these commercials - And I’m pretty sure that the majority of you would agree that’s pretty damn gay. Just when you thought shit couldn’t get any worse, someone told me that the upcoming album’s name was now changed to “Panty Sniffer”. I couldn’t believe it, and I was really bored, so I went to the website to see if it was true, and sure enough, it is. While I was at the site, I decided to “Take A Look Around” (eh?), and I soon learned that Freddy Durst himself posts updates on the site. This amused me greatly, especially because he seems to have turned the site into a sort of ‘blog’. As you can imagine, this makes for some extremely (non-intentionally) humorous entries. I couldn’t stand to read more than a few of them, but this one (in which he describes a dream he had about Angelina Jolie) and this one (in which he whines about the fact that no one likes the horrible new single, “Just Drop Dead”) were particularly amusing to me… It’s like reading journal entries written by little kids! Anyway, if you’re interested in reading more “deep thoughts with Fred Durst”, then feel free to have a look for yourself.

I always thought that AC/DC’s song “Big Balls” was really fucking gay - I like their music alot, but that song gets on my nerves. However, I was recently told that the song was written after the band was exposed to this video, and now I totally understand where that shit’s coming from. Man… I wish I was that well-endowed, the tribe bitches would be all over my shit, FUH REEL. I have more to say, but I can barely keep my eyes open, so I’m gonna hit the sack… And then I’ll probably go to bed afterwards. I swear to godlet I’ll update tommorow.

Well the Deftones track that I linked to in the last post, that link isn’t working anymore, but don’t worry, if you didn’t get the song, you’re not missing out on much. Out of the three songs from the CD that have leaked so far, “Hexagram” is by far the best, I love it. Anyway… Yesterday, ~~KaGeBoI~~ and Clark Kent came up from Harrisburg around 3 o’clock or so. We had a few beers, filled up a water bottle with vodkee, and then hopped on the trolley to 69th street, and then got a train to Bryn Mawr, since the Bryn Mawr theater was the only place even remotely close to my house that was showing X-Men 2 at midnight. So we got there around 7 or so, and bought our tickets. I figured we’d need to go that early to get them because usually there are fags who stand around in costumes waiting to get the first tickets… I guess they were all at home jerkin’ it, thinking about Wolverine and his sexy adamantium endoskeleton. Anyway, we got back on the train and went back to my house and chilled for awhile, refilled the water bottle, and then got on the train once again to go back to the theater. We were all pretty “sauced” (what a gay term) by this point, and I had to buy another ticket because I left mine at my house. When we got there, the movie was just starting, and I ended up falling asleep like right away, I guess due to both a lack of sleep and my level of intoxication… So I don’t remember anything about the movie, which I’m kinda pissed about, because I’ve been wanting to see that movie for a pretty long time, but I had alot of fun getting there and all, so it’s cool. I don’t know if any of you are fans of TBS’s Dinner and a Movie, but I think Alcohol and a Movie is more fun, so Reet and I are doing that tonight… Unless she chodes out on me, in which case I’ll cry a river, Justin Timberlake style - You know how we do.

The Game Entertainment has a DVD out that I wouldn’t mind seeing. It’s called “Bar Room Babes & Brawls”, and they don’t have a whole lot of information about it on the site, which is why I’m not gonna order it, because with my luck it will be the shittiest thing ever. So far, though, the shittiest thing ever is the Orgazmo DVD I got off of eBay. I was curious why it was shipped from Hong Kong… Well, now I know. The menus on the DVD are mostly in Hong-Konganese, or whatever, and the subtitles must have been typed by a six year old, since the majority of the words are spelled wrong. The quality looks like shitty VHS, too, though I guess that’s not a big deal… I just wish I would have known about this before I bidded on the DVD. I wonder, what would Uncle Jesse do in this situation? I’m gonna go to my room now and finish putting together my Bjork shrine now, peace out nutbags.
