Doesn’t He Usually Post On Christmas?

Added: I think I’m the only person that thinks that this song is funny. I’ve probably listened to it 15 times today. Oh yeah, the first 15 people to post their e-mails in the comments thinger get gmail accounts. I curbed santa… It was an accident =( Yeah here’s 3 CKY Christmas songs, even thoug Christmas was yesterday… (Santa’s Coming, Shitty Christmas, 12 Days of Christmas)Play those four songs on repeat all day, your family will love you for it - Mine sure does.

I don’t really know how I ended up at this site, but it tells you how to make your own wine using very simple ingredients (grape juice concentrate, water, yeast, sugar, a jug, and a balloon). I never realized how simple the process was before, and I definitely plan on trying this once I get back to school. I kinda wish I would have stumbled upon this page five years ago (or before I turned 21) though, but I guess we were too busy garage hopping.

P-p-p-powerbook! That’s awesome, I want to totally f someone over like that too, although the guy on the recieving end in that story actually deserved it.

Hoe Hoe Hoe... Yeah, real funny, I know.

I’ve seen alot of different things that you can do with your iPod… The latest being turning it into a universal remote. Kinda cool if you’re into that sort of thing… I use mine for, uh… Listening to music. I’ve dropped it a couple times onto hars surfaces, because I’m a moron, and it still works fine… So apparently these aren’t necessary… Either that, or I’m just really lucky - Which is definitely not the case, I have the absolute worst luck in the world… Anyone who knows me knows that. I was born on December 4th, 1983, and on December 25th that same year, Santa decided he didn’t like me; so he did what any rational imaginary holiday icon would do, and took a big steaming dump on me. I don’t remember it though, my parents told me about it.

A collection of musicians have created a Christmas album that I think is pretty damn cool. From 8bitpeoples.com: “these 8 amazing tunes were composed by 8 dedicated chiptune maniacs on 8 different videogame consoles and homecomputers! Featuring the sounds of Yerzmyey on the Spectrum, Nullsleep on the NES, Vim on the VIC20, Paul Slocum on the Atari 2600, Bit Shifter on the GameBoy, Goto80 on the C64, Dma-Sc on the Atari ST, and Hally on the X68000″. And yes, all of the songs are available in MP3 format on the website.

How much money would it take for you to kill a puppy with your bare hands? This video asks people that very question and is pretty funny. “50 cents… No, I’m serious. 50 cents.” They must be at an art school or something though, all those guys seemed pretty fruity. Some of the other videos on the site are pretty funny too. Check this one out. Oh yeah, they did some parodies of the apple.com/switch commercials… Some of them are actually pretty funny.

This guy’s portfolio is absolutely awesome, I wish I could design a site like that. Oh, and speaking of stuff that rocks, this thing just blows my mind, and the guy who made it goes to the same school as me. Cool?

From Blabbermouth.net: Yngwie Malmsteen threatened to kill a fellow passenger on a flight to Tokyo, Japan after the woman poured a glassful of water on the guitarist.

The passenger, who had no prior contact with Yngwie, allegedly overheard Malmsteen making derogatory comments about homosexuals and decided to show her disapproval by emptying the contents of her glass on the hefty axeman.

A member of Yngwie’s touring entourage, who was traveling with Malmsteen at the time, had a tape recorder running and managed to catch Yngwie’s reaction on tape immediately after the guitarist was “assaulted” by the offended passenger.

To download an MP3 file containing Yngwie’s response to the “water attack”, including his now-legendary phrase “You’ve unleashed the fucking fury,” click here (file size: 1.7 MB).

While on the topic of metal… Am I the only one who thinks Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) is a total grundle? I can’t stand the guy, and the fact that he’s gonna be on the upcoming Napalm Death CD is quite a shame.

It’s possible that I’ve plugged metal-archives.com before, I’m really not sure and am too lazy to check. But if you’re a fan of real metal, you’ll appreciate the site as much as I do, it has a wealth of information on tons of bands that you probably wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. Some other sites to check out: Invisible Warning, evils0ft.net, and blindecibel.

Oh yeah, I guess I’ll end this post up with some free stuff: Staples has a free digital camera accessory kit and a digital imaging coupon book, add both items to your cart, then enter coupon code 90554, and your total should come to $0.00. Here is a free subscription to Stuff. Want some more free stuff? How about some free land in Kansas? No, really. Free (legal) downloads of Rockstar’s GTA1, GTA2, and Wild Metal here. Oh, and thank god, free adult diapers. I’ll post more pointless free stuff in the future.

Are You There God? It’s Me, John.

I posted a pre-release (low quality) of the new Mars Volta album, it sounds pretty good but when listening keep in mind the final release of the album will likely sound much better, this is like a “rough draft”, and when “De-Loused in the Comatorium” was coming out, they had a few pre-releases for that as well that didn’t sound nearly as good. So don’t feel let down by the band if you’re not blown away by this.

This kid Dan that always used to beat me up and take my lunch money now has a Xanga, and I don’t visit many sites on a daily basis, but I’ve gotta hand it to the bwah, his shit is pretty damn funny.

I’m not sure why anyone would ever need an email account with a terabyte of storage, but they’re available for free here.

Need a break from finals? Check out the cute kitten image generator. It’s test day baby! GET PUMPED UP! My last final is Thursday morning, and I really can’t wait to be done.

This holiday season, let that special someone know they’re on your mind. Send them a card! Or take polaroid pictures of yourself standing outside of their house at night in a black hoodie and sunglasses, holding large knives, and put the pictures in their mailbox. That way, they’ll know someone is thinking of them, they just won’t know who - That’s gotta be exciting! Okay, but if you actually wanna send something to somebody for the holidays, this thing is kinda neat (use promotional code bc2004). It creates a personalized Christmas song for someone with their name in it - Believe it or not, it’s not as stupid as it sounds.

If you’re quick, you can get a free subscription to FHM right here. And this isn’t free, but it’s an awesome deal… $19.99 for a 100 pack of DVD-R and free shipping here. I’m gonna go study until I pass out and (hopefully) wake up covered in papercuts. And vaseline… Is that asking too much? Oh yeah, help one of my hosts (Randy) out by signing up for mp3players4free.com, and also check out Bryway.net. Damn… Did I forget anything?

TAKE IT!!!

I don’t know how many of you heard about this already, but Dimebag Darrell of Pantera fame was shot to death Wednesday night while playing with his new band Damageplan. There’s an article about it here. Wow, that’s pretty shitty… I just got back from taking a final and had some IMs about it. According to this article, the shooter jumped on stage, said something about Pantera, and then opened fire - So I’m assuming it was some crazy fan that was pissed about the fact that Pantera is pretty much done with - But if that was his beef, wouldn’t it have made more sense to go shoot Phil instead? Not that anyone should have been killed to begin with, that shit is just ridiculous… What a bummer. Oh yeah, and this, too. I wish I had a little sad face emoticon thingy to put here.

The metal/punk/etc (I hate labels) Power Hour DVD is finished - I just want to make a cool-looking menu for it, but for those of you who wanna see what kind of videos are on it, you can check out the track listing here. I’ll give you a few minutes to check out the list. Done? Okay, now I’m ready for something along the lines of “wow man, you call this metal/punk? this shit isn’t metal, metal died back in ‘91 with freddy mercury, and punk only existed for like six seconds back in the ’70s - once ten people found out about it, it wasn’t punk anymore!” …Or something along those lines. Honestly though, who wants to do a power hour consisting of brutal death metal? Maybe some people do, but it doesn’t sound that great to me. This is a variety of songs that I enjoy and I feel that they flow pretty well from one song to the next (I kept transitions in mind when I was editing them) - All I’m saying is don’t e-mail me bitching about what’s on there, I’d love some suggestions but I expect some angry mails regardless of what I put on.

Also, the rap and rock/pop/whatever DVDs are “in development”, I haven’t put any of the tracks in order yet or anything but you can check out the videos that I’m considering putting on them: (rap, rock) and a list of the videos that I downloaded but am not yet sure if I’ll use (rap, rock). Once again, any feedback is welcome, if you have suggestions or whatever I’ll take them into consideration, but I have a shitty connection and I’m behind a router so it’s pretty hard for me to find some videos. Anyway… Just thought I’d post this up here real quick to keep you all informed.

Pomeranian Grundlespice

December 4th was my 21st birthday… So this whole weekend was ridiculous. Some of the highlights were attempting to do 21 beer bongs on Friday (I only made it to 18 though… I’m pretty bummed about that, I’ll have video of it later, I made it to 17 and then passed out for like 3 hours), Bree’s salute, “Body of Christ”-ing it up (actually that wasn’t that cool), getting kicked out of the bar (still not quite sure how that one happened), the police stopping by the house (to wish me a happy birthday, of course), and buying a keg (scary picture, as usual - I dunno why I always feel the need to make ridiculous faces for pictures, it just kinda happens). All in all it was an awesome weekend, though my hangover yesterday was almost as bad as the hangover I had on my birthday last year back in the dorms. Thanks for everything to everyone who came to visit, bought me drinks at the bar, or even remembered to say Happy Birthday. No more underages for this guy!

Honestly, I’ve never had too many problems with calling people I wouldn’t normally call when I was wasted. There have been a few incidents, but not enough for me to think of a service like this. I guess some girls get real drunk or whatever, and begin to crave some ex-boyfriend schlong.

I love hoodies, I have 5 or 6 that I pretty much wear in rotation all the time. But honestly, I don’t have a hoodie for my iPod. I’ve actually spilled coffee on it though and dropped it a bunch of times and it still works fine. It’s funny how I told so many people about the freeipods thing and showed them other websites with proof, and no one was interested - But now that I got mine, niggaz gotta be hatin and shit!

I dunno how many of you have ordered these absinthe kits - I’ve tried two different ones, the essence was much better than the original, in both taste and its effects. But the way I see it, why order kits when you can order the real thing? Sure, it’s more expensive that way, but from what I hear it’s really an experience. I ordered a bottle and have yet to recieve it, but you can be sure that I’ll let you all know how it was.

Alright, anyway… It’s finals week so I’m busy as hell and don’t have a whole lot of time to put into making posts for the site - Not that I ever really do. But the Power Hour DVD is coming along nicely. The punk/metal/etc part is finished, and we used it a few times this weekend, it was awesome. If any of you are only interested in that power hour, and don’t care about the other two, I have no problems sending out copies of that now, but you might wanna wait a few weeks until I’m done with all three of them. My plans are to sell these for ten bucks each, and I’ll accept Paypal, checks, money orders, whatever - Or you can get a copy for free by signing up for freeflatscreens.com using my referral. But I’ll post more details about all this later on when I’m done with the DVD.

It Was All A Dream…

I don’t usually waste any of my time with these types of things, but the other night I was checking my IMs before I went to bed, and someone I hadn’t talked to for awhile sent it to me, and I figured what the hell, I’ll give it a shot. I was actually laughing out loud when I read the results, they couldn’t have been further from the truth. I’m not gonna go into detail but it told me that one of my male friends was my “shining star”. I guess that just goes to show you that these things really were made for girls. It also said that “Fucking Hostile” by Pantera is the song that tells me about my life. Actually, it’s the song that was playing (Winamp was on random) while I was taking the stupid test. I’m not even sure why I’m wasting my time writing about this. I could be putting my time to much better use!

System of a Down has two albums coming out in 2005, and you know what? I honestly couldn’t care less. And those of you who have been visiting this site for a long time know how huge of a fan I used to be, for like three years they were one of my absolute favorite bands. Well, “Steal This Album” was pretty shitty, so I don’t see them making any improvements musically from that album, and I’m also sick and tired of politics in music. I realize SOAD’s first two albums were pretty politically-fueled, but for whatever reason, that didn’t keep me from enjoying it then… Maybe it wasn’t as obvious, who knows. That might sound ignorant or whatever, and yeah, bands should write about whatever they want, but it just gets out of hand sometimes. A Perfect Circles new album “Emotive” is nothing but covers of what are more or less war protest songs, and even if they weren’t originally written to speak out against the war, that’s how they’re meant to be interpreted on this album. I feel like their dedication to changing the world and all that good stuff is having a negative effect on their artistic integrity, and the quality of the music that they’re putting out. A Perfect Circle’s first two albums were absolutely amazing, and then they put this shit out. And then there’s this “Axis of Justice” concert album. I got kinda excited when I saw this in Best Buy, but didn’t have any cash on me so I downloaded it from IRC. Thank god I didn’t spend the money on it. Everything I could possibly say about this album has already been said in the reviews here. It’s terrible. I love everyone involved in the project (Maynard, Serj, Morello, Flea, etc) but this is just shitty. I’m listening to it right now and after I finish up the last few songs I’m going to delete it. I’m not sure if this is a rant about shitty music, politics in music, or both, but I just wanted to get a few things off my chest. This wasn’t well thought out, and I didn’t read over it after I typed it, so feel free to go through and pick out all the parts where I contradict myself and all that.

Slayer fans, prepare to (most likely) be angered. Lil Jon sampled two of Slayer’s classic songs, “Raining Blood” and “South of Heaven”, in a track from his new album, “Crunk Juice”. The song is called “Stop Fuckin’ Wit Me”, or something along those lines. Bi-curious? Here’s the mp3, courtesy of some poor schmuck’s bandwidth. Okay, that was mean. But all I did was type in “lil jon” and “slayer” in Google and that’s one of the first things that came up, so I doubt he has a problem with it being available to everyone.

Check out Buckethead’s Tribute to ODB. I think that the MP3 on there is pretty damn cool, the video is kinda strange though.

Free Stuff: t-shirt, stickers, glow pen, 10 minute calling card (use code WNWAE-FA7DG or HBGC8-WKMDG), mouse pad, marlboro keychain (use code MML4219), and magazine subscriptions (Stuff, Body & Soul, or Shape).

I’m headin home for Thanksgiving Break, I’ll be back Monday. S my D.

Save A Horse, Ride A Meatball

I’m an idiot, and I dropped a 120 GB IDE hard drive from about 4 feet onto a carpeted floor. Now when I put it into the computer it won’t detect it, and it just makes clicking noises. I know data recovery services are more expensive than I can afford… Anyone specialize in this type of thing or know someone that does that could possibly help me out? This kinda shit seems to happen to me alot… My high school photography portfolio fuckin decayed or something, I went to look at all the photos last time I was at home, and they were all brown and discolored, some of them you couldn’t even tell what the photo was supposed to be of.

I would love to have a projector to play videos and winamp visualization plugins on, that would be awesome. Even though I just lost 120 GB of music videos/movies/etc, I’m still thinking about trying to save up and build a projector. There are several of those do-it-yourself guides that I’ve seen that explain how to build your own projector, but that one seems like the best.

Alright, as far as the Power Hour DVD goes, it’s definitely gonna have three power hours on it, and that’s the final count. One will be rap, one rock/pop, and one punk/metal. I’m almost done with the punk/metal one, and I have videos downloaded for all three power hours, but I haven’t cut them all down to 60 seconds yet, or chosen the order that the songs will go in. Once I’m done with all that I’m gonna make menus and everything, and I’ll probably end up adding extra shit on the DVD as well. It’s gonna be a little while until it’s done because I want it to come out good and I don’t wanna rush it - But I’m real busy with school too (as usual) - I’ve only worked on it for like half an hour so far this week. Anyway, if you’re interested in the DVD and want me to get in touch with you when it’s finished, just post a comment with your e-mail address/IM me/e-mail, whatever. I’ll keep a list of the e-mails of people who are potentially interested and when it’s done I’ll let you all know the details.

I turn 21 on December 4th. I’ve posted about how the cops are really cracking down on parties lately here in Shippenburg. Since I have very little time left until I can legally drink, I’ve been very careful where I go. Last weekend I didn’t even go out Friday night. Saturday night a bunch of my friends were going to Lambda Chi. They never have kegs, always BYOB parties, so they can’t be charged for furnishing to minors. Because of this, cops never seem to bust the parties. I was all ready to leave with them to the Mardi Gras party, and then I realized going out at all might be a bad idea since I would be walking there with a bookbag full of beers and I had already been drinking. I decided to stay home, slightly antisocial but as far as I’m concerned it was a smart move. I passed out around one or so, and two of my friends came back here at like 4:30 and had gotten underages. The frat got busted, even though they weren’t serving alcohol. I don’t really understand why or how it happened, but apparently the police had a warrant and they searched the entire house. They busted 102 people that night, though they did let football players go. When they first arrived they wanted to get their shit organized, so apparently one of the cops said “Alright, all you whores line up here, and assholes line up here”. They setup tables with laptops so they could “process” everyone quickly, even though they were there for several hours. One of my friends was working the door at the party, he wasn’t even drinking, and he might be facing a several thousand dollar fine - He doesn’t even live at the house. I just think this is ridiculous, is there nothing else going on in this town, they really have to bust parties where alcohol isn’t even being served? I understand it’s their job and all, and people should consider the consequences of their actions (underage drinking) before deciding to do them anyway, but several people I know are probably not gonna be going to school here next year because of being busted at that party. Underage drinking charges (especially when you have more than one) are pretty serious. Here at Shippensburg, the school likes to stick their nose in your business - Even if you’re caught drinking off campus, you still face on campus consequences - Being forced to take classes, and facing possible suspension/expulsion. I just think the whole situation is messed up and it’s only getting worse. If this was my freshman year here and I hadn’t met alot of the awesome people I’ve met, I would definitely consider transferring to a different school. It’s not that drinking is that important to me that it will make or break my decision to attend a specific school, but if you do decide to drink, even if you “play it safe” and only have a few beers, you’re still at a high risk of getting busted for it. I’m not sure where I’m going with this, I’m just letting off steam. I’m sure alot of you disagree with what I have to say, and that’s fine, but a good number of those who disagree probably don’t have much of a social life anyway, which would explain your position on the matter. You probably eat babies too, don’t you? Oh my god, you eat babies? That’s terrible. Flootarg.

On Monday night, Dr. Dre was attacked, the G-Unit got involved in a brawl, and a man was stabbed. Just another rap awards show though, nothing out of the ordinary. Speaking of awards shows, Anna Nicole Smith was at the American Music Awards. And? You tell me, check out the video.

Wanna make cheese in your bathtub? Alright, awesome… Oh, you want a link that teaches you how to do that? I should have known… You can learn here.

I’m NOT Lovin’ It“. I hate McDonalds commercials with a burning passion, though I guess that one was kinda interesting.

Oh man, “AIM Hottiez” is so lame. You click the links and it adds “hot girls” to your AIM buddylist. Are people really that lonely?

Check out Lindsey Lohan at the pool, here. Man, I would kill some paparazzi if I was a celebrity.

If I was smart, I’d probably set some time aside to read “how to learn a language“, seeing as how I’m in Spanish 3 and barely know a word of Spanish. Then again, I’m not too smart, so I’m just gonna forget about that link and continue with the update. I’m incredibly confused by this.

This flash video for Radiohead’s “Creep” is actually really cool. Check it out if you like the song.

I only played around with this 99 Rooms thing for a few minutes, but it seems really cool, if you have some free time on your hands I suggest you check it out.

Holy crap.

Do you have a weblog? Wanna post an entry, but just don’t have the time? This is probably what you’re looking for.

I found this site while looking at entensity.net, and I gotta say it’s one of the… Well, I guess worst sites ever.

ODB, aka Big Baby Jesus, is dead. No, really. I’m actually kinda upset about this one. Speaking of rappers, if for whatever reason you wanted/needed to know a rapper’s real name, you could probably find it on here.

So Playboy did “Girls of Starbucks“, and I guess that probably went over pretty well. Then they did “Girls of Wal-Mart“. Okay, there’s probably some hot girls working there. They recently took another step down, and decided to do “Girls of McDonalds“. What’s next? I’m looking forward to “Girls of the Hatfield Meat Packaging Factory”. Actually, that has alot of potential.

I dunno how many of you shop for DVDs online, but I usually get mine from Deep Discount DVD. They’re usually the cheapest and they have free shipping.
