Give Me My Money Back

Is it just me… Or is this kinda cool, in a strange way? Come on, you know it’s badass. I want to rob a bank wearing a Bush mask too. I’m so hungover I can’t even think straight. (Note: Not that it’s really all that important, but I write my updates bit by bit. This was written Thursday morning. Whenever I come across an interesting link, I write about it and save it to a .txt file, and then post it all when I feel it’s a decent sized update. It’s Sunday right now and I’m not all that hungover at all… Like I said, not too important, but… Yeah.) Anyway, I’ve been really busy lately (as usual) with alot of stuff, most of which isn’t worth mentioning here, but I have been working on the power hour DVD. I have alot of music videos downloaded, but I’m narrowing down the list of which ones to include on the DVD. If any of you have any suggestions post them in the comments section, and if I don’t have the video already I’ll check it out and consider it. The reason it’s gonna take awhile is because I’m not half-assing this, I wanna make cool menus and transitions between the videos, and it’s gonna have two full power hours on it.

I just checked my freeipods.com status, and it says that it shipped! For at least a month it said something like “waiting on vendor for product”, and now the status has changed, so… That’s pretty damn cool. I’ll keep you all informed on when I get it.

I decided to start putting albums on the site, rather than individual MP3 files. I’m not gonna put stuff on here that you could find in a split second on Kazaa or whatever, what’s the point of that? I’m sure alot of what I will add is widely available elsewhere, but I’m gonna try to avoid real common stuff because to me that seems like a waste of bandwidth. As I’m typing this I’m uploading All That Remains “This Darkened Heart” which is basically ‘metalcore’, if you like the sound of bands like Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, God Forbid, Shadows Fall, etc, you should check them out. I’m also uploading Hoobustank’s “They Sure Don’t Make Basketball Shorts Like They Used To” (Thanks to Dan for introducing me to this). Now, before you jump to conclusions here, this album was released in 1998, and it doesn’t sound like the Hoobastank you know and love today… It’s actually good. It sounds sorta like older Incubus (S.C.I.E.N.C.E era), so definitely check that out. Oh yeah, and they used to spell their name with a U, for the haters out there tryin to step to this shit and call me out on some misspelled shit. Get the fuck up out my grill, ya heard?

As much as I dislike Jon Stewart, this is kind of stupid.

Man, Ja Rule is seriously one of my favorite rappers ever… I really hope he’s alright. I’m not even kidding either, he’s such a good singer! He and Ashanti should do an entire album together. And maybe he could team up with Metallica again and make some more awesome songs, because one was definitely not enough.

Y’all tryin to setup a meth lab in yo momz basement, and google straight up actin a fool, not givin you da instrukkshunz n shit? Ay yo playa, you gotz 2 aks jeevez n shit. Stay up!

I was taking a wonderful after-class dump and paging through the new issue of Stuff (get your own free subscription here) when I came across this ad for the G-Unit clothing line. I scanned it real quick (shitty scan, yes I’m aware, this wasn’t worth more than two minutes of my time) because I thought it was pretty funny. When I have kids… I’m not even sending them to school, I’m just gonna send them straight to Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and 50 Cent, I mean I honestly can’t think of better role models for impressionable youth… Can you?

The new Playstation 2 is so small and… Cute? I just wanna eat it. In other news, Michael Jackson is a big crybaby.

High Times presents: “Help, I’m Stoned, Who Should I Vote For?” For all you weedlets out there, if you’re concerned about the upcoming election and it’s potential effects on your stoner lifestyle, read this article.

SickAnimation is hilarious. Some of them aren’t too funny but some of them just rock.

BingBongTables.com sells beer pong tables that fold up into a compact briefcase with handles. They’re pretty cool, and I want one. Chops beer pong table is better though.

It’s amusing to me that this horrible picture of me is the #2 most viewed image on here. Let’s make it number one! Or not, to be honest I don’t care much either way.

If I went to Oregan State University, I would so pledge Pi Beta Rho.

TV-Be-Gone is pretty cool… And I want one. I would have had so much fun with one of those things in middle school/high school. Ryan ate several pages from the bible, and Dave used chapstick he found in his house that was from 1982. I have alot of stuff to do today so I’m done for now, check out Phucking Losers.

This Type Of Drinking (Could Do Us In)

I know I’ve written about “Saw” on here before, but the more I saw previews for it, the more I can’t wait for it to hit theaters, it looks so twisted and… Well, pretty much just awesome. If you haven’t seen it already, do yourself a favor and check out the trailer here. I love movies that actually do a half-decent job of scaring me, but they’re not too common, the last good one was The Ring, and before that I can’t even remember. So…. “The Grudge” looks pretty cool too, but that’s just judging by the trailer that I saw.

So this past weekend was pretty awesome… The weeks never go fast enough, though… I’ve been super busy with studying and all that, not worth getting into because I’m sure alot of you are in the same boat. Anyway, I went up to PSU Friday night with one of my roommates, and stayed at my niggaz fraternity - The frats up there are like ten times the size of those here at Ship, I’ve seen them before but it still blows my mind, they’re like the size of our dorm buildings. Tailgated before the game Saturday which was fun, though it was weird to drink out in the open like that when I’m used to having to being super shady about drinking here… Since you have to be, the cops look at underage drinking as an “epidemic” here, and they’re on a full-blown crusade to stop it. Purdue won, but everyone saw that coming. Came back here Sunday afternoon, then Sunday night I drove down to Harrisburg to party with a friend who is going away to the Army this Thursday, so that was pretty cool, drove back here Monday morning all hungover just in time for class. This is stupid.

Ever since I got a DVD burner, I’ve been playing with the idea of making a power hour DVD. For those of you who don’t already understand what that entails, a power hour is a “game” where you take a shot of beer every sixty seconds for an hour. Doesn’t sound like a whole lot of beer, but it ends up being (and this is debatable) about 6 beers in an hour… Some will say it’s five, and some say seven, I guess it’s dependent on factors like how much you pour into the shotglass, and if you’re a moron and tend to spill things. Anyway, that’s not important. A power hour pretty much sucks without a power hour CD, which, until I came to college, I had never heard of before. It’s a CD with sixty-second clips from songs, and everytime the song changes, you know a minute is up and you take a shot. I have a few of these lying around (you can download them from P2P programs, search for “power hour”), but I think to sit down and do a power hour while not only hearing the songs, but watching the music videos, would be pretty cool. I’ve already started working on it… I have alot of music videos on one of my old hard drives already, but it’s mostly metal/hardcore stuff, and most people I know don’t like that, so I’m trying to use more “mainstream” videos for this - I might make more then one actually, since you could probably fit three or four “video power hours” on a DVD. Anyway, if anyone would be interested in possibly buying one of these from me when (if) I finish, let me know, in the comments thinger or via e-mail - A few people expressing interest would definitely be a motivational factor, even though everyone I’ve told around here thinks it’s a cool idea, they aren’t people that’d end up paying for a copy. If not, that’s cool too, I’ll probably still do it, but I plan on putting alot of work into this, like making nice looking menus and all that. So if you’re interested in the idea, let me know.

I bet alot of you are wondering why I never update the “cam hotties”, or haven’t for awhile. Well, it’s not due to a lack of new images, believe me, I have just been busy as shit, and also toying with the idea of making a seperate site for them. I have obtained a large amount of content, not only series of images but also alot of webcam videos, so once I get around to doing that it will definitely be worth your while, I just don’t have the time to setup a layout and all at this time. I’m so much busier this year then I was last year, last year we drank almost every day, but this semester it’s been mostly just on weekends… Though in college, the weekends start on Wednesdays, but you catch my drift.

From Marlaolmstead.com: Marla Olmstead was born in Johnson City, New York in February, 2000. She began painting at the age of one. At two, she was creating large works on canvas. Her first exhibition, “All Kinds of Colors,” was held at a Binghamton, New York coffeehouse when she was just three years old. Sure, her work is nothing spectaculat in itself, but the fact that it was made by a four year old is pretty impressive.

When I see someone walking down the street or whatever with little white earbud headphones, I usually assume it’s an iPod, but don’t think much of it… Apparently, though, some people do, and after reading this article, I can’t believe there are actually people that refuse to use those headphones that come packaged with the iPod, and opt to use other headphones instead, to “assert their individuality”. That’s ridiculous, I understand dressing a certain way, but this is just stupid. They actually call these people “closet iPod users”… I really don’t have a whole lot else to say about this, it’s just stupid. While on the topic, I have yet to recieve my free iPod, but apparently it usually takes a pretty long time since so many people are getting them. I’ll keep you all informed on how that goes.

The Zombie Infection Simulator is kinda interesting… But wouldn’t you rather just rock out with Borat? I love Ali G.

Free stuff: Apparently you can get a free mini scale thing here. Here’s a free 6-issue subscription to GIANT magazine. Get a free subscription to Stuff (or Body and Soul… fag) here, American Cheerleader magazine here (I love subscribing my roommates to these shitty magazines), six month subscription to Sports Weekly, and here is a free CD from MTV.

Buttplugs: I’m sure some of you remember Mizi from cyber-funk.net. Well, check out his Deviantart page, and check out the trailer to a movie he worked on, it’s posted on there. If you’re not already using FireFox, well… Download it. Hmmm… Check out Cosmonic, Lamahange.net, and tips4poker.com. I was asked to plug this Red Sox page as well. I have alot of stuff to do this week, thank god we have Fall Break (Monday and Tuesday off), even though I’m destined to spend the whole break getting work done that the teachers will be expecting as soon as classes resume. Dammit.
