I’m doing a group project on 60s Abstract Art in my Art History course right now, and while I was lookin around on the internet for sources, I came across these quizzes which I thought were sort of interesting. One of the quizzes is “true art or a fake?” which was interesting to me because alot of abstract art to me used to (and sometimes still does) seem like nothing more than scribbles and/or lines, that anyone could have easily made. I got a 75% on that quiz, I actually recognized 3 or 4 of the pieces. Word.

There hasn’t been a whole lot in the news that has really caught my attention lately. Nothing important ever happens. You know what? We need more quality journalism, like this article. That is top-notch news reporting right there. George Bush has an iPod! And not only that, the article gives us a peek at what he listens to! I read the article like five times already, I’m gonna go make a sandwich and then come back and read it two or three more times.

So I’m pretty sure that my video camera is completely ruined. It’s been dropped alot in the past… I bought it probably about four years ago (I definitely had it during my senior year of high school) and I’d say for the abuse it took it had a good run, even though the best stuff we ever got on tape was lost… One tape was taped over completely by a dumb drunk girl who will rename nameless, and the other went through the washing machine in the pocket of a pair of jeans… Coincidentally out of the 10+ MiniDV tapes I have, those two were hands-down the best. When I got my new computer I really wanted to mess around with video editing, and I guess I have done that to some extent… I put a few videos on here, and I did make that Power Hour DVD (even though only like 10 of you bought it) but I’d like to do alot more with my camera and the computer, and I’m not really able to now. I was going to try and earn one using Gamerefs.com (they have the DCR-HC21 on there), but people don’t tend to trust these (free___s.com) type sites, and I don’t even know if that site is legit. So yeah… Do any of you happen to know anyone that tends to get ahold of things that fall off of the back of trucks? Hopefully I’ll have time to get a job or some source of income over the summer so I can get another MiniDV camera, because at this point I’m not even able to watch the tapes that I have. If any of you are in the market for a camera that only works when it wants to, and even then only really half works, let me know! I uh, know a guy that sells those. Oh yeah, and about that Power Hour DVD… Last weekend I walked into a party here and they were doing it. I just thought that was pretty cool, I mean I’ve sold probably about 20 of them to friends here, but to just walk into a random party and see people having a good time with something you made, it’s a cool feeling I guess. I also like snuggling under the blankets during thunderstorms, and that feeling you get after you take a dump that you’ve been holding in for eleven hours. You know the feeling, when you unleash a brutal assault of fecal matter into the toilet. I think they sell it on eBay actually.

I think that alot of these jokes are hilarious. Apparently no one else does though, I sent them to like half the people on my buddy list and no one responded. Bastards.

I got a score of 204 on “Guess the Google“, kind of a fun game I guess. Diglet!

Pantera fans, check this out. Apparently a whole slew of unreleased Pantera stuff might be seeing the light of day. If there’s any truth to this article, the new Pope should be ecstatic!

“Bastard Tetris” is a version of Tetris that usues algorithms to choose the worst possible bricks to give you. It’s for Linux, I just think the idea is pretty funny.

Apparently, if everyone lived like me, we would need 2.2 planets. How about your bitch ass?

Now you can use PSP to access IRC, and soon AIM. I think that’s kinda cool. Alot of you signed up for freePSPs using my link, but not many of you completed offers (I think two did). Thanks Nick for using my link (feel free to use his if you haven’t signed up yet). When I do get my PSP (I’m sure I will eventually, I’ve been getting referrals using the freeipodguide forums), I’ll make a page similiar to the one I made for my iPod, with everyones referrals on it, and pictures, and all kinds of stuff that you should definitely care about. I’m going to effect your life in so many ways, it’s just absolutely ridiculous. Are you ready? This is significant, trust me.

I know I’ve said this before, but I have honestly never felt this overwhelmed with work and responsibilites before in my entire life. I really don’t know when I started to care and take my schoolwork seriously, but it’s really not like me at all. I guess maybe it’s part of the maturing process? I’ve been doing alot of thinking and it’s just strange to look back on the kid I used to be and the kind of shit I used to do with friends, I wouldn’t even dream of doing most of that stuff now. Back in high school I couldn’t care less about my grades, a teacher would give an assignment with a due date and I’d completely blow it off, I rarely turned in my work, and I never paid any attention to anything. I know alot of us were like this in high school though. I didn’t really do alot of my work last year, and when I did it was pretty half-assed alot of the time, but I somehow managed to keep my grades up. And then last semester I somehow managed to make it onto the dean’s list, and I was invited to a dinner with the dean. Two years ago, I would have been out slashing the dean’s tires and taking a crap on the hood of his car while he was having a nice dinner with some students. Hey, is that car unlocked? Anyway, I went to PSU last weekend for my main nizlet Rizlet’s 21st, and that was alot of fun. Then Friday night I went to an Alpha Phi formal thing which was alright, and then ended up going back to PSU again last night for Kappa Sigma luau which was pretty damn cool, there were tons of people there. At one point I remember rolling up and down the halls on an office chair, and I was on the verge of blackout so my memory of this is kinda fuzzy, but I remember someone handing me a broom and putting an empty case of beer on my head and before I knew it I was being pushed down the hall in the chair real fast towards someone else who was also being pushed, and we were jousting. I don’t know for sure, but I’m thinking that may be why I woke up covered in bruises this morning. Anyway, enough of that.

I really kinda hate it when people send me links to games like this. Even if they’re not all that cool, I end up spending like 20 minutes playing them, and just getting frustrated.
