What? I Post Every Day!

Spring Break was awesome, I’ve been swamped with work since I got back though. Between my job, schoolwork, and punishing my liver, I haven’t been on the computer much. I’m in my Senior year of college but it turns out I’m not graduating this Spring… I’m gonna stick around one more semester and take some more classes so I can finish up my minor. I know you all care a whole lot, so I’ll continue. Wait, what?

This page is kind of creepy, it finds the MySpace profiles of people that are dead. I don’t really know what else to say about that.

Wow… The first paragraph of this news article makes me want to curl up into a ball and cry in the corner.

After all these years of searching… I think I finally found my soulmate.

Spamusement! features “poorly-drawn cartoons inspired by actual spam subject lines” - Some of these are pretty damn funny. My work email address gets tons of spam, and some of the subject lines (and even the bodies of some of the emails) are either ridiculously offensive (mostly pr0n stuff) or just make absolutely no sense - The latter type of spam makes no sense to me, what does it achieve if all it contains is a bunch of nonsense, and no links or anything? Anyway, I might have posted this site before, but it’s still worth checking out.

Is anyone planning on going to Bonnaroo this year? I think I’m gonna end up going with some friends, I’m not really into jam bands but it should be a fun time anyway, especially since Atmosphere is on the bill. I do like some of the other bands too, but I’m not crazy about the majority of them, but I love music so much that seeing pretty much any band live (minus the likes of Smash Mouth and most of today’s commercial country music) is a lot of fun. I don’t know some of these bands at all, so if any of you want to recommend albums/songs to check out, that’d be cool. Also, for you fellow Bonna-n00bs out there, the Bonnaroo Survival Guide seems like a pretty good read for planning your first time. If any of you are going, holla at a nigga, we’ll meet up and play patty cakes.

Every once in a while I randomly end up watching a movie that I’ve never seen or heard of before, and I’m blown away by it. Whenever this happens, it makes me realize how many awesome movies there probably are out there that I haven’t seen. I watched Buffalo Soldiers the other day, and this was one of those movies. I didn’t know what to expect since I knew nothing about it, but it’s definitely one I plan on buying when I get a chance. Other great movies I’ve seen recently are Lord of War and Thumbsucker. I’m sure there are others, but my brain sucks, so that’s all you’re gonna get for now.

Alright, our flight leaves Dullas International Airport at like 6 or so tonight, so we’re driving to DC and hanging out there for the afternoon until we have to head to the airport. We’ll arrive in Orlando and then take a shuttle bus to Daytona Beach. You can keep track of our drunken antics by visiting my friend Andy’s photo blog thinger, Appeal To Novelty.

The Chuck Norris stuff just keeps coming… I really don’t think it’s all that funny, but apparently everyone else does.

Monkey 64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for the Sony PSP… That’s pretty cool, too bad I won’t be able to try it anytime soon since I’m running the 2.5 firmware and don’t feel like buying the new GTA game just to be able to play homebrew… Oh well, worth checking out anyway.

Alright, well the crackmeaws are burning and I gotta finish packing, everyone have a totally dudetastic Spring Break.

Miscellaneous Free Crap

Quick Freebie Post! Free optical mouse, Stimulant X Energy & Weight Loss Sample, “TeaChef” Sample, Subscription to ESPN Magazine, Smart Money, Popular Mechanics or Electronic Gaming Monthly. And uh, this isn’t technically a freebie, but you can get a “MyMusix” MP3 Player (uses SD Cards for storage, but doesn’t come with one) for $4.99 here. The lowest price for one of these on Overstock.com is $29.99, so it’s a pretty good deal if you ask me, and you can pick up 1 GB SD cards for pretty cheap if you watch for sales and stuff. That’s all for now.

So I’m a senior in college (not graduating this semester, but still in my senior year) and I’ve never gone anywhere for Spring Break. Sure, I still have a great time during my breaks, but I’ve never managed to go anywhere exciting. So this Spring Break I’m going to Daytona Beach, Florida. One of my roommates managed to get us a five-star hotel that’s right on the beach, so this should be awesome. We’re leaving Saturday the 11th, and we’re coming back on the 18th. My friend Andy is going (there’s four of us total) and he is planning on keeping a photo journal type thing, which should be pretty interesting. So if it does end up happening, you can click here and watch us binge drink, vomit, and violate any farm animals we manage to get ahold of.

Netfirms has a special right now: You can get 1 year of webhosting with 2 free domain names, 750 GB of monthly bandwidth, and 20 GB of storage… For ten bucks. This is a great deal, click here and enter the promo code “MAX” to take advantage of it while it lasts. Woot.

So city officials in Chicago recently noticed that they’ve spent over $100 million on settling lawsuits filed against police officers in the past 5 years… That’s absolutely ridiculous. Bad cops? What’s a bad cop? There’s no such thing… They’re all good people. Speaking of cops… this is pretty ridiculous… Watch the video.

Someone asked about the Notorious BIG track remixed by Serj (lead singer of System of a Down). You can hear that here:

And the new NOFX album? You can get that here, it’s called “Never Trust A Hippy”. It’s only an EP, but I like it, even though I heard some of those tracks from last years “7 Inch of the Month Club” thingy.

Sleep Is The Enemy

I never really paid much attention to “high def” TV, and I always figured DVDs were good enough quality, but seeing this (a visual comparison between DVD and HD) made me realize that there actually is a noticeable difference, and HD isn’t just for people with nothing better to spend their money on. Kinda interesting.

Chances are this is old news and I just never heard about it… But did you know that there was a World Series of Beer Pong? Why didn’t anyone tell me!?

If you’re looking for a cheap case for your iPod or iPod Nano, this might be worth checking out: for iPod Video / for iPod Nano - They’re both $5.45, and free shipping. Eat it.

Holy crap - How many of you had a Tamagotchi when they were all the rage? I specifically remember when I got one, and I was definitely in 4th grade. I can’t believe it was that long ago. Anyway, they’re back with a vengeance. It doesn’t matter though, my Gigapet is getting better soon, and once he’s fully recovered he’s gonna kick your faggot Tamagotchi’s ass.

So yeah… Here’s a coupon for buy one get one free at Quiznos. It’s not as good as that free Sheetz deal I posted a year or so ago, but it’s still pretty woot if you ask me.
How about a free USB drive, courtesy of Microsoft? Click here, and then click on “Valuable Information - Get Yours” (it’s on the right). You’re welcome. Here is some free Axe bodywash.

Alright, I gotta get to class. There’s a new NOFX EP out, if anyone wants me to post it, leave some comments on here. I do wanna start posting music again, but feedback is nice.
