I realize that this is a pretty cliched thing to say… But I can’t believe how quickly this year has flown by. It blows my mind that September is almost here, and the summer is coming to an end. I guess that’s what happens when you get caught up in a routine? Working full time and driving roughly 50 minutes (sometimes over an hour) to and from work every day doesn’t leave time for much else. For the past month or so I was seeing someone (although it didn’t end up working out… no big deal) and I’ve also been checking out apartments, so most days when I get home from work I literally eat dinner and go to bed. I’m hoping to move closer to where I work soon, so I’ll have more time for things outside of work during the week. I’d imagine that once I get settled into an apartment, I’ll have more time for the site as well. Anyway… This has definitely been the quickest Summer of my life, though that’s not to say that I didn’t have a blast on the weekends. Hoodie season is almost upon us…

I wouldn’t mind owning one of these things. Even though I’m not exactly sure what it is, I’d never need to wear shoes again, so that’d be cool.

Apparently this movie is so scary, no one can watch it alone. Some douche took that as a challenge, and rented out an entire theater, just so he could prove that the movie isn’t that scary. It cost him $1160… I wonder if it was worth it?

Pixlr is a free online image editor that seems pretty similar to Photoshop - I only messed around with it for a minute, but a lot of the keyword shortcuts are the same, and you can create new layers and stuff. I could see this thing coming in handy, definitely worth checking out, especially if you use Photoshop a lot.

Wow, this is really cool. Writing with a waterfall? Leave it to the Japanese. Anyway, now I have to go pee.

I wish that teachers would have shown us more stuff like this when I was in school… I might have actually paid attention in classes… Probably not, actually, but it would have made things a little bit more interesting.

Have you heard of ChaCha? I just found out about this the other day, and it’s actually really cool. You call a 1-800 number (1-800-2CHACHA, which is 1-800-244-2242) and ask a question, any question, and then hang up. They text you back the answer in a few minutes. I read about this somewhere, and saved the number in my phone. For whatever reason, I couldn’t think of the scientific term for the stiffening of the limbs after death - I’m not sure why I was thinking about this. Anyway, I remembered this ChaCha thing and decided to try it out. I called and left my question, and within 2-3 minutes they texted me the answer (it’s rigor mortis). Pretty cool.

I was actually planning on heading to Beijing for the Olympics, but now I’m definitely not going. Inconsiderate pricks.

I’ve posted about “urban exploration” and infiltration stuff on here before. I’ve been fascinated by this stuff for a long time, but today I came across something a bit different. Someone explored (and took pictures of) Mike Tyson’s old mansion. That place is pretty awesome, and it’s crazy that it’s still in such nice condition.

I’m not exactly sure how I stumbled upon this prison survival guide, but I thought it was pretty interesting… Hopefully I will never need any of that information, though.

More news about the upcoming Bruno movie - He (Sacha Baron Cohen) recently organized a cage fighting event in Arkansas. If you’re familiar with his Bruno character, you’d be correct in assuming that it got extremely homosexual (and very uncomfortable for most of the attendees) pretty quickly… I love this stuff. I wish I would have been aware of these Wal-Mart intercom codes when I was younger, I definitely would have had a lot of fun with those.

I’ve found a couple of pretty cool shirts on VintageVantage’s auction page. But that’s not real vintage. If you want real vintage, you have to pay about $36,000 for a pair of jeans that were hailed out of a mine in the Mojave desert. They’ve gotta be at least 100 years old. Otherwise you’re just a douchebag.

I haven’t listened to Kill You In The Face, but I must say, they have one of the best names I’ve ever heard.

Some people spelled out ‘YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL’ using plastic cups in the holes of a chainlink fence. Naturally, people changed the letters around, but some of the pictures in the series are pretty interesting.

I haven’t seen The Dark Knight yet, I definitely need to get around to that. From what I’ve hard though, it would have been better if Michael Bay had his way.

I actually had more I wanted to get to, but I’m heading to Bethany Beach for the weekend with some friends I haven’t seen in a while. Have a great weekend everyone!
