If any of you still think freeipods.com is a scam... Well, here's some proof to the contrary.

On a magical Fall afternoon I recieved a mysterious package in the mail. Was it anthrax? Perhaps a bomb from an adoring fan? There was only one way to find out.

Nothing could prepare me for the contents of the box. It was as if I was opening a treasure chest; the room filled with golden light as I opened it.

Apparently all the golden light went away before this picture was taken. Regardless, I pulled the contents out with rabid excitement. Don't tell anyone, but I shit my pants.

An iPod! I was sitting in my own fecal matter and I didn't even care. I ate the plastic wrapping to get to the warm, creamy inside.

BEHOLD!

Yeah, just as I suspected, the iPod box came with an iPod inside it!

After I calmed down a bit and cleaned myself up, I posed for a picture with my new toy.

Getting your own really isn't that hard. If you haven't already signed up, and just decided that you want to after seeing that I got mine, please use one of these links to sign up. Meg (the biggest chain smoking boozehound I've ever met) and Chris (roommate). If you signed up using my referral and completed an offer, e-mail me with your referral link and I'll put it on here for you. These following kind souls signed up for iPods using links from this page, and for that I (or someone else who has a link on here) is eternally greatful:

Mengus, Adam, Sean, Dan (FreeFlatScreens), Russel (PVPs4Free), and someone else who didn't include his name... Let's call him Mrs. Brinjac (PVPs4Free). By the way, let me know when you get your iPod/FlatScreen/whatever, so I can remove your link, and people know not to sign up using it.

Freeipods.com isn't the only site offering free stuff like this for referring friends. Freeflatscreens.com gives away flat screen pc monitors (as you might have guessed) and tvs, and requires eight referrals. Freedesktoppc.com gives away Dell PCs and requires ten referrals. Pvps4free.com gives away portable video players/DVD players, and also requires ten referrals. Those are just a few of the sites, there are more out there but I haven't bothered signing up for any of them. I want to thank everyone that helped me out and signed up for freeipods.com using my referral. I had over 60 signups, but only five of them were verified.
